Les membres du groupe Cochrane Cancer du Poumon ont assisté au colloque Cochrane qui s'est déroulé à londres du 4 au 6 septembre. Durant cet évènement, nous avons dit au revoir à notre collègue et ami Fergus Macbeth qui a pris sa retraite. Nous lui souhaitons de profiter pleinement de sa nouvelle vie.

Le groupe Cancer du Poumon s'est retrouvé à Paris pour une session de travail le 7 mai dans les locaux de l'IFCT.

Nous avons publié une nouvelle revue: Exercise training for advanced lung cancer et un protocole : Single or combined immune checkpoint inhibitors compared to first-line chemotherapy with or without bevacizumab for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Ce dernier génèrera une revue 'living' (une revue systématique continuellement mise-à-jour, intégrant de nouvelles études dès qu'elles sont publiées).

Lors de la 15th World Conference on Lung Cancer qui s'est tenue à Sydney (Australie) en octobre 2013, le LCG a eu le privilège de participer à un symposium d'une demi-journée incluant des présentations faites par nos éditeurs et auteurs. 80 personnes du monde entier ont assisté à une série de présentations et discussions des plus intéressantes. L'agenda de cette journée figure ci-dessous. Nous espérons que cet évênement incitera de nouveaux auteurs à nous rejoindre pour faire de la librairie Cochrane la première source de revues systématiques de haute qualité, à jour, sur le cancer du poumon.
